Valentine’s Day is famous for boxes of rich chocolates and romantic, delicious desserts that take hours to bake. Here is a recipe that is easy, scrumptious and only takes five minutes to make, but five seconds to devour. These strawberries have a melt-in-your mouth creamy center, and a tingly sweet chocolate top. Make them for a significant other, family or even for friends as small gifts of appreciation.
Cheesecake Stuffed Strawberries:
1 pound large strawberries
8oz. block cream cheese – soft
3 – 4 tablespoons powdered sugar (depends on how sweet you want the filling)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Graham cracker crumbs
Instructions:
Rinse strawberries and cut around the top of the strawberry. Remove the top and clean out the inside, creating a hole. If you want your strawberries to stand upright, slice a bit off the bottom. Once strawberries are prepped, set aside.
Combine cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla with a mixer or by hand. Add mixture to piping bag and fill strawberries. Once strawberries are filled, dip the top in graham cracker crumbs. Drizzle some chocolate on top for a sweet touch of decadence!
