How long have you been playing soccer, and what motivates you to keep playing?
I’ve been playing soccer since I was 3 years old and was motivated a lot by my twin sisters who are older than me. So when they started playing, I also joined.
What is your fondest memory of your sport, and why do you cherish it?
My fondest memory was winning state (2023). My sophomore year was my first year on varsity and having that experience and getting to be in all the games with all the seniors makes me feel special.
What is something that you have taken away from your sport, and what lesson have you learned from playing?
Don’t give up and don’t get in your head. I know in a lot of games it gets tough mentally so just know who you are, and how you play, and don’t let anyone else let you get in your head.
What aspirations or goals do you have for yourself in your sport during high school and potentially college?
I’ve decided to finish high school and, although I’m not going to college soccer, I’m excited to finish the season and graduate with hopefully a second ring and a second medal to finish my high school soccer career.
Is there any advice that you would give to your younger self or other younger athletes?
I learned perseverance and hard work – especially in those games where you think you are going to lose – so fighting until the last minute is important. Being able to become district champs in the last five seconds is something that not a lot of people can say.

I’ve been playing soccer since I was about 5 years old, and my motivation is that I want play soccer in college.
What is your fondest memory of your sport, and why do you cherish it?
Probably when I went to go play soccer in Spain. It was like a whole new experience — a once in a lifetime experience.
What is something that you have taken away from your sport, and what lesson have you learned from playing?
A lesson I’ve learned is having a goldfish memory. If you make a mistake you can’t just be fixated on that forever. You just have to move on and go on to the next thing.
What aspirations or goals do you have for yourself in your sport during high school and potentially college?
In high school, I just want do the most here with what I have. Next year, I want to win state for Marcus.
Is there any advice that you would give to your younger self or other younger athletes?
Honestly, just enjoy your sport. Cherish it.
