Girls varsity soccer continued their playoff run with a 3-1 victory against the Mansfield Tigers on April 13. Senior forward Taylor Moon scored once in the first half and once in the second, with junior forward Francesca Amoe finding the net in the last ten minutes of the match. The Tigers’ lone score marks the first time the Marauders have given up a goal in these playoffs.
After their win, the Lady Marauders advance to the April 14 regional final where they are poised to take on Allen High School. The victor of that match wins a bid to the state tournament.
