The swim team has started off their new season on a high, the girls beating other teams by 120 points and the boys by 89. According to Liz Le, one of the team members, the season is starting off well, especially with the boys’ team.
“It’s good because everybody is more team-oriented this year,” Le said. “We’re all a lot more close.”
As October is one of the most important times for the swim team, they have met very frequently, alternating from Tuesdays to Saturdays.
Important upcoming meets include one where the swim team is competing against Flower Mound on December 4th, which Le says that she hopes students will attend to in order to cheer them on.
“We really hope to just do well,” Le said. “We want to be able to do well, but still have fun at the same time.”
