Clubs offered at Marcus High School are a perfect way to make friends, find a community with the same interests as you, and explore different career paths. With the plethora of clubs offered, there is so much to choose from, and a guarantee there is something for everyone.
DECA – Distributive Education Clubs of America

- Overview: Interested in marketing? Business? Or strategy? DECA might be the place for you. DECA stands for: Distributive Education Clubs of America; DECA is a club provided at Marcus where students can learn more about marketing, business, entrepreneurship, and participate in fun competitions.
HOSA – Health Occupation Students of America

- Club sponsor: Denise Pustejovsky
- Overview: HOSA is an organization that offers opportunities and careers for students interested in the health of the medical profession. Students are given leadership strategies, skilled competitions, and offer students academic contests or challenges.
Speech/Debate

- Overview: Speech and debate isn’t just about arguing… It aLao includes critical thinking, Improv, and exciting challenges as ways to make friends and gain knowledge. Speech and debate also offer great opportunities and look good on college applications!
Student Council

- Overview: If you’re looking for an easy way to make friends, then student council is the club for you! Stuco members participate in fun school activities like volunteering, participating in spirit days, helping out administrators and other local schools. Overall, student council is something fun to add to your college apps!
Step Team

- Meeting dates: Step team tryouts are September 6th, but if you don’t make it, you can always join step team practices every Tuesday and Thursday in the dance room from 3:50-5pm
- Overview: Do you enjoy dancing, performing, or want to get more involved in school? Marcus step team is perfect for you! Step team is a fun way to involve different cultures into dancing at marcus and we participate in fun challenges as well as performing at pep rally’s!
Circle of Friends

- Overview: Circle of friends is a great club to join if you are interested in including everyone or want to make new friends. Students volunteer and hangout with other club members making friends with everyone! Introvert or extravert COF is perfect for you!
Language Clubs

- Overview: Passionate about learning a new language? Taking a language class? Any language club or honor society is perfect for you. Language clubs are a fun way to involve yourself more in learning about the language and culture of French, German, ASL, or Spanish!
Black History Club

Asian Heritage Club
