Being on a journalism staff teaches students extremely marketable skills and opens up scholarship opportunities as they prepare for college. Student journalists also get the chance to cover events such as Postyfest, JMBLYA and political debates as well as go to conventions in cities like New York and Washington DC. Being on staff is what most alumni remember as the best part of high school.
