Flower Mound native to star in the television show Touch
The offer every 13 year old has dreamed of is now a reality for Flower Mound native Saxon Sharbino: the opportunity to star in a television show. She will be a regular on season 2 of Touch.
“I did a pilot last year and they liked me, and then they just offered it to me,” Sharbino said.
Last year Sharbino attended Downing Middle School and currently lives in Los Angeles for filming. Touch features Kiefer Sutherland, a single father, and his 11 year old son, Jake (David Mazouz). Jake and his father set out to solve the mysterious case of Amelia Robbins (Sharbino), a child that has been reported missing. Sharbino was first given the part of Amelia after starring in a pilot that was later passed on.
“It’s nerve racking and exciting at the same time,” Sharbino said.
Season 2 of Touch will premiere Friday, October 26 at 8 p.m. on FOX.
