The California State Fair, held at the CalExpo in Sacramento each July, is a multi-week event that has been taking place for over 150 years. It’s a festival of fun and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. With activities ranging from thoroughbred racing to corn dog and pie eating contests and athletic events like soccer and motocross as well as engaging educational events for kids. There are also animal shows and competitions, live music from big-name bands and tons of delicious fair food. The State Fair is a great place for all types of people to get together and have a good time.
Wildflower Arts & Musical festival

Wildflower Arts and Music Festival is an electric celebration of visual and performing arts featuring events and activities for the whole family. The festival spans three days and has live entertainment across multiple stages, boasting national as well as local talent in the lineup. The Kidz Korner offers all kinds of fun such as free games, crafts, a climbing wall, bouncy house and a live butterfly habitat. The Wild! Marketplace is a shopping adventure with jewelry, pastries and the festival’s Food Garden which offers fresh vegetables and fruit along with newly planted flowers to pick from.
Riverfest Arkansas

Arkansas largest festival occurs each year on the first weekend of June. Riverfest is a family festival that includes visual aspects and performing arts for over 250,000 visitors. Families from all over the state enjoy multiple bands, games, food and fun. The three day event offers four stages of live performances and a variety of entertainment options from a kid friendly activity area for young teens to art classes at the ArtZone. The festival will also include rides and exhibits that allows attendees to virtually travel the world. On the last day it will be open to adults only and will feature a late night concert by the headlining music performer.

The festival connects with Colorado filmmakers in all walks of life to bring a wide variety of film work from multiple genres to showcase. In addition to the films, they also host classes and workshops throughout the festival to provide resources for those who are interested in getting into and advancing their skills in film.
